Best full english breakfast in Bolton / Horwich. Fish and chips recommended too. Lovely atmosphere. Open fire lit in the winter time and sometimes a pianist playing too. Lovely place.
The food is nice. However, the prices are extortionate. For instance, fish and chips isn't high-end (or even supposed to be expensive), yet you're charged as it is.
Place itself is very nice. I was one of a big group so i guess it was difficult but, as is often the case, not enough trained staff. One of our group wanted a sherry..staff didnt know what that was so she ordered tea. It came but by time milk arrived tea was cold. My fish was very overcooked and dry. Chips undercooked and almost every chip had dark spots on them. For 8.95.it was poor. Conversely due to heavy snow it was difficult to get up hill to leave car park and owner came out to help. So good and bad.
Great food. Reasonable prices. Superb service, especially the young lady Kelly who served us tonight! Always a great place to grab food, really nice interior and great to eat outside on a clear day, overlooking the fishing Res. Big from us.
One of the best chippies around. Sit in and enjoy the live piano music while enjoying your fish and chips. Their rag pudding is superb. Beer on tap and quick service. Prices are good too. Sit outside on a sunny day and take in the views of Rivington.
